Ultrasonic probes work by the principle of ultrasound.After the probe obtains the excitation pulse, it emits ultrasonic waves, and then after a period of delay, the probe receives the reflected echo signal. The echo signal received by the probe is processed by filtering, logarithmic amplification and other signal processing. Then the DSC circuit performs digital conversion to form a digital signal, which is further processed under the control of the CPU, and then combined with the chart forming circuit and the measuring circuit to synthesize the video signal and send it to the display to form the familiar B-mode image. Therefore, the probe is the sensor of the ultrasonic machine and an important part of the ultrasonic machine.


The probe types are: wireless probes, USB wired probes, and probe probes. Among them, the classical probe probe was the earliest invented, the most stable work, and the most widely used.


1. The probe is easily damaged by mechanical impact, especially the surface in contact with the surface of the body, so it must not be dropped on the ground or collided.

2. Never immerse the entire probe in water or other liquids. The cable connection part of the probe is not waterproof.

3. Excessive bending or twisting of the probe cable may cause incorrect operation of the instrument and probe or internal short circuit.

4. After the probe is used, wipe the ultrasonic coupling agent clean. When cleaning the probe, it can be cleaned with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. The probe should always be kept clean.

5. Do not use gas, liquid or high temperature methods to sterilize the probe, and do not place the probe in an environment of 55°C. These sterilization methods will permanently damage the probe.
